How does a nominee claim EPF after member's death?

The nominee needs to submit: Form 20 for EPF settlement, Form 10D for pension, and Form 5 IF for EDLI insurance. Required documents include death certificate, nominee's ID proof, bank details, and relationship proof. What if no nominee is registered?

If no nominee is registered, legal heirs can claim through: Succession Certificate from civil court, Legal Heirship Certificate from competent authority, or Family Court order. Can EPF be withdrawn during company insolvency?

How long can an EPF account remain inactive?
